On the eve before I post Callum's POV, I realized that I did not proofread Gus' POV segment before publishing. Had I done so, I would have caught that the italics for internal dialogue did not transfer when I copied it over from Scrivener. Granted, Gus wasn't heavy on his thoughts, but it wouldn't have taken me too long to bring up both screens to ensure the text replicated correctly.
I'll make sure to be more attentive going forward; you, the readers, deserve the finest experience I am able to provide, just as my stories warrant the highest quality of presentation.
